Robert Glasper Shares Visual for “Black Superhero”
Glasper Is Joined By Killer Mike, Big K.R.I.T. and Singer BJ The Chicago Kid On The New Single
Robert Glasper has released the official music video for his new single, “Black Superhero.” The moving song will be featured on Glasper‘s forthcoming project, Black Radio III due for release in February via Loma Vista Recordings.
R&B singer and Chicago native BJ The Chicago Kid, as well as rapper and activist Killer Mike and rapper Big K.R.I.T join the super-producer on the inspirational song. Glasper shared about the project, “I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Black Radio than by releasing Black Radio III. To debut a live performance of ‘Black Superhero’ on The Tonight Show with some of my own heroes is really special to me. Hopefully, it inspires more to come.”
The beautifully-shot music video was directed by Charlie Buhler. Glasper is set to perform the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on January 17, 2022.
