As if being a successful recording artist, dancer, songwriter and actress weren’t enough, R&B veteran Mýa shows us that she also has bars! On her new single, “Worth It” the multi-award winning artist introduces us to her alter ego, Mýa Lan$ky.
Over a Lamar “MyGuyMars” Edwards-produced beat, the R&B singer shows off her rap skills touching on everything from owning her own music, looking younger with each passing year to protecting her peace. She shared in a statement about the song, “My independent journey has placed me on a path to becoming a better version of myself, redefining success and happiness that does not always coincide with the world’s definition. So when people hear “Worth It,” I want them to feel strength and courage to leave any situation that does not enhance their lives.”
