Mashonda Shares Visual for New Single “Positive Distraction”
The Single Will Appear on Mashonda’s Forthcoming EP ‘Note To Self’
Singer and songwriter Mashonda has released the visual to her beautiful new single, “Positive Distraction.”
The new song follows her last single, “Forbidden Fruit,” released in July this year via her own, Tirfrere Music imprint. The singer co-wrote and co-produced the song along with The Millennials.”

The song is the story of a woman who has found someone who has restored her faith in love. Mashonda sings, “Out of the blue / I feel a new light as the moonlight / I got a view / Way overdue / Love at the first sight / Turn this world upside down / With every sound of words that ease through your lips…”
The sultry music video for “Positive Distraction” was directed by Push and Pull Media.
The new single will appear on Mashonda‘s forthcoming EP entitled, ‘Note To Self‘ due out later this fall. “Positive Distraction” is currently available via all digital streaming platforms.
